The Idaho Psychological Association presents the IPA award to businesses that excel in one or more of the following four areas: employee involvement in decision-making and problem solving; promoting employee health and wellness and a safe work environment; providing opportunities for employee growth and development; and offering family support. Strite design + remodel received awards in all four categories.

Strite design + remodel was chosen as one of three local area businesses to feature a kitchen display at the Bon Appetit Show at the Boise Centre on the Grove in downtown Boise.

Jim Strite was the third person nationwide to receive the Remodeling Magazine's Foundation Award for outstanding leadership and mentoring spirit in the remodeling industry. The magazine featured Jim on the front cover of the November 2001 issue, and dedicated an article to Jim's accomplishments.
